MDaudit Synergy 2025 – Better Together

Dec 10, 2025 4 minute read

A recap of MDaudit’s 2025 annual user group meeting from Jaenna Babajane, Senior VP of Customer Experience.

Our 2025 Synergy Summit is a wrap! On behalf of the entire MDaudit x Streamline team, I’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the 2025 MDaudit Synergy Summit attendees and presenters. For three exciting days, we enjoyed insightful presentations, thought-provoking discussions, and valuable networking, demonstrating our theme that we are truly better together. It was also a pleasure to see our new Streamline customers join us!

For those who were unable to attend in real time, here’s a recap of the key moments and sessions from our 2025 Annual User Group Meeting (UGM). Held on November 12th-14th, this customer-exclusive, virtual event welcomed over 600+ attendees from 38 states nationwide. Our largest attendance.

Key Sessions

Day one was packed with thought leadership topics and sessions, while day two was dedicated to customer panels and insights, including an award ceremony. Day three spotlighted our popular “Ask an Expert,” where attendees visited breakout sessions geared towards different product tracks.

Leading Through Transformation

This year’s keynote address by Justin Barnes unpacked the convergence of AI adoption, value-based payment models, and regulatory change—and what it means for compliance and financial leaders. Barnes is a healthcare innovation executive, corporate advisor, and industry strategist with 30 years of experience.

The healthcare revenue cycle is at the epicenter of industry transformation. As AI innovation accelerates, value-based care expands, and regulatory models like CMS’s TEAM payment model reshape financial accountability, RCM leaders are being called to lead with strategy, precision, and compliance at the core.

We know the importance of governance in AI. However, this is not a one-time thing. It requires an ongoing playbook of what governance means to you, your organization, and the future. New AI initiatives must align with 2026 and 2027 mandates, including OIG and CMS billing rules.

The keynote session provided actionable frameworks, key industry data, and leadership insights to help organizations future-proof their revenue cycle operations and seize emerging opportunities.

Platform Vision and Growth

MDaudit’s CEO, Ritesh Ramesh, led a session exploring top trends from the 2025 Annual Benchmark Report, including the top four:

  • Denials on the Rise
  • Payer Audits Increase
  • Technology Unlocks Outcomes
  • Outpatient Coding Worsens

The 2025 Benchmark Report is now available for download. Ramesh notes that healthcare providers faced a complex set of financial, regulatory, and demographic challenges in achieving sustainability. But automation and augmented intelligence are a strong solution against these headwinds. If humans are kept in the loop for proper governance. While an in-depth product session was held with Lee-Ann Ruf, Senior VP of Products, and Megan Zuzak, Manager of Revenue Cycle Pro.  Ramesh notes the four main themes for the 2026 product roadmap including:

  • Meaningful AI Solutions
  • EHR Interoperability
  • Intelligence Systems
  • Enhanced Security

Aligning Risk Adjustment with CMS’s New Audit Mandate

Earlier this year, CMS announced the audit mandate we’ve all been anticipating, nationwide expansion targeting Medicare Advantage risk adjustment coding. With estimates of $17 – $43 billion in potential over-captured conditions, the stakes are high for both health plans and providers. Awareness alone isn’t enough, this session covered a clear strategy to navigate the coming scrutiny.

MDaudit+Streamline

This session explored Streamline by MDaudit’s two products, eValuator and RevID. And how these products are transforming mid-revenue cycle management. RevID and eValuator solutions ensure accurate, compliant revenue capture through automated charge reconciliation and pre-bill coding analysis. Together, Streamline and MDaudit provide Revenue Integrity Assurance across the revenue cycle.

Optimizing Performance: Building KPI-Driven Workplans

This session focused on creating work plans aligned with measurable outcomes and real-life examples from MDaudit customers. The session was moderated by MDaudit’s Andrea Johnson and Mia Sullivan. Our customer presenters shared their approach and recommendations for developing metrics that align with organizational objectives. Some of the foundational KPIs they shared included audit productivity per week, the efficacy of provider education, the percentage of providers “touched,” and findings, trends, and accuracy rates by service line.

Customer Success Stories

One of our favorite UGM moments is hearing firsthand success stories from our customers. These stories highlight industry challenges that are being overcome with MDaudit platform solutions. This year, the spotlight shone on five of our customer organizations, who presented topics like defending revenue with payer audit workflow, beta testing partnerships, efficiency, and business impact in Hospital Revenue Cycle.

Thank You for Attending!

We’re incredibly grateful to our customers for their engagement and the insights shared at this year’s Synergy Summit. If you missed the event, contact your CSM for access to all the session recordings. We look forward to continuing our journey together in 2026.
