Dec 9, 2025 1 minute read

We were recently featured in ICD10monitor’s Special Bulletin article titled “Providers Appear Aggressive in Protecting Revenue, Payor Audits Accelerate.” Our CEO Ritesh Ramesh appeared on Monitor Monday to report findings from the 2025 MDaudit Benchmark Report on nationwide audit trends.

The article highlights key findings from our comprehensive analysis of real world claims and audit data from the first three quarters of 2025. Ritesh emphasized that the rate of payer audits accelerated significantly, with hospital inpatient and outpatient average denial amounts increasing by 14 and 12 percent respectively, while total at risk amounts, number of claims, and average amount per claim increased by 30 percent in payer audits. The analysis demonstrates the urgency of adopting a unified approach to billing compliance, coding integrity, and denial prevention through data intelligence and automation shared across revenue functions.
